Project Description:
This eight-story shopping mall and residential complex in downtown Kuwait contains shopping space on the ground and first floor levels, parking for 1000 cars on two basement levels and two upper levels, and fifty courtyard apartments on the two roof levels.
The focus of activity for the shopping mall is a pair of four-storey interior courtyards, lit by skylights. A central escalator connects the street level with the first floor which over-looks the courtyards where colorful banners, plantings, and fountains add life to the shopping area. Show windows in exterior arcades and interior plazas provide attractive displays for the shops.
A total of 6300 m2 of commercial space is available in which 335 small shops can be accommodated. These modular units may be combine to form various configurations of larger shops.
