The building
consists of four large lecture halls, a multi-purpose room and office spaces
for faculty of Kuwait University. The Lecture Halls are spread over two
levels with optimum circulation surrounding a large central atrium. Light
enters the atrium through a cylindrical sun scoop located in the middle
of the building. The exterior facades are cast in-situ white concrete.
Staircases are cladded with glass blocks. Slanted windows allow for better
light control. Marble finishes are on the interior of the building. |
