Project Description:
The main objective of the project was to provide a neighborhood center for the Al-Sideeq area. The site is 71,600 m2 and has a built up area of approximately 26,000 m2 .The center will provide a central supermarket, retail shops, citizen’s service center, multi-purpose hall, social development building, social aid centers, post office, banks, restaurants, municipality office buildings, police station and a gas station. The concept is based on the image of a tent which houses all of the above functions. The center is filled with multi-use facilities that will attract the citizens of the area. The main objective was to create a pedestrian friendly environment for the community. |
