On the eight of 1968,
Pan Arab Consulting Engineers (PACE) was established. Its first
project was the Al-Andalus Complex, which set many architectural precedents
for Kuwait. The list of major projects include, but is not limited to,
the Joint Banking Center, the headquaters of Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic
Development, an extension of the Central Bank
of Kuwait, the Arab Organisation Building,
the Amiri Diwan, the Grand Hall of Bayan Palace,
Social Securities Building, Al Khalejia, Holiday Inn, Al Ahli Bank Head
quarters, Sahab Tower, the
Sixth Ring Motorway, Al-Ghazali Expressway,
and major roads in developing countries.
PACE has a history of cooperating with many
International European and American Firms when undertaking engineering
design projects. PACE's expertise has been put to use in Bahrain, Yemen
and Sudan, as well as Rwanda, Zimbabwe, and the far reaches of Asia into
China and Indonesia. This trend continues to expand steadily into the newly
independent Islamic Republics in the CIS, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Lebanon,
Eygpt and Morocco.
Such success has recently culminated in PACE's
certification
as an ISO 9001 organization
due to its quality of design.
