Project Description:

Abdallah Al Ahmed Street is a master plan for a large area within Kuwait City. It extends from the Grand Mosque to Dasman Palace. The street brings an aesthetic architectural harmony to Kuwait City and hosts a variety of functions. The idea is a local interpretation of the famous Champs Elysees in Paris. The designers sought to revitalize the area by creating a mixture of multi-use facilities. Retail stores, cafes and restaurants would occupy the ground level of the development while offices would occupy the floors above. A residential area was also planned adjacent to the major street development. This project was a competition entry and is unrealized. |
