Project Description:
The government of the Republic of Djibouti received, within the framework of the roads network rehabilitation, a loan from Kuwait Fund for the Construction of Tadjourak- Obock section to a 7 m asphalted width with 1 m shoulders. The national road N°14, with a length of 63 kms, links Tadjourah to Obock in the north of country. It is the outcome of the spectacular and touristic Unity Road (National road N°9) which, from NR1 to Tadjourah, carry out on 122 kms the main terrestrial link between the north and the south of the country; crossing the active volcanic region located between the Assal Lake and Ghoubbet El Kharab. |
